It's been a while, hasn't it? Sorry I haven't been maintaining the comm as I should have been, but life picked up for me and I can't say I really regret it. Things have slowed down again and while I can't update daily like I used to ... I'll try to do at least one listing a week and keep a closer eye on this place.

But I do have a more important announcement! Due to the limits of the LJ tag system, I've decided to open up a Delicious account for fancomiccentral to make it easier to search through the comm. It has the potential to get very big, after all. And to avoid cluttering up the comm anymore, I'm integrating the old adoption list into it as well - anything tagged as *notlisted is free to be listed by anyone. I just started it, so it should take a couple of months for me to bookmark everything, as well as update/delete any outdated/broken listings. :T

Comments: This fancomic made me cry. It's a beautiful and poignant story about the end of a heroic life. A story that came full circle. I really wish this would be the canonical ending for this character, one that meant a lot to me for most of my own life.

Comments: If you enjoyed the original How I Became Yours, you may enjoy its sequel. I must admit, I find this to be an improvement over its predecessor. In fact, I was pretty shocked that Zuko was actually killed off rather than living a long, happy life with Katara. Also, the art doesn't look traced...though some of the c/ping of panels is a little jarring. The story's still in its infancy, so this is a good time to jump in and follow it.
